As you will know it was Paul's 40th birthday yesterday.  He got upset because you were not here to celebrate this special occasion with him.  I told him that you would be with him.  As usual it was a good day but there is always that saddness.  On Saturday we all went go karting which was fun, we did that on Saturday as people are at work obviously during the week.  Paul his birthday off and we celebrated at home. Geraldine and all came down after work, Adam couldn't do yesterday but they spoke on the phone.  We all got Paul a racing day at Silverstone which he really liked - so that is to be arranged and we will all go with him to watch him do that.  I had a cake made for him (not as good as your ones, i have to say!) which he liked. It had Spurs shirt decorated on the top with Happy 40th Birthday Paul written on it.
