It was Geraldine's birthday, as you know, yesterday. She was at work so I didn't see her until she got home with the boys. Adam and Paul were unable to be there due to work. We had dinner and then her birthday cake. The cake was the last one in the freezer from when you did a 'bulk' bake, so it had to be in there for 2 years now. The cake was good - not sure you say the same about my decoration of it though! It was ok. Yes, the icing is STILL cracking! They have all had a cake for their birthday's of which you made. It is upsetting that we are enjoying what you did and you are not here with us. In a way I wanted to 'hang' on to them because it is what you have made but I know you made them for the 'ocassions' (not knowing that you wouldn't be here to share these ocassions) and would want them to be used.
